At IAS (Institute of Marine Research)-CNR of Roma Tre University the Italian Plastic Pirates Team presented the Plastic Pirates project to the 50 teachers of the participating schools in Italy! The conference, held by Italian partners CNR Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Legambiente and Marevivo, was also attended by Fabio Fava from Bologna University and the Spanish Plastic Pirates Team, who talked about the importance of international collaboration. After the presentation, the participants were guided to the banks of Tevere River for a practical demonstration of the upcoming activities they will carry out together with the students, showing how to collect and analyze important data on microplastic pollution in rivers.
