Plastic Pirates unstoppable: Romania has officially joined the Plastic Pirates initiative – a warm welcome to our newest member! 

The team of UBB Cluj serves as the main contact point for Romanian schools and youth groups aiming to launch a Plastic Pirates sampling. Starting in April 2025, students from Cluj-Napoca collect scientific data at local rivers, making a valuable contribution to the growing European database on plastic pollution.
